Żaneta
Hello, I'm Żaneta

Your dog is understood here, not just supervised

I've been around animals my whole life: dogs, cats, horses, guinea pigs and rabbits. That taught me to read how an animal is feeling, not just what it needs.

I live with my partner Bart, who every dog quickly adopts as their favourite toy. We're an active couple and I'm mostly at home, so your dog gets real company, not a long day alone. We keep numbers small, never more than three pets, so our home stays calm and structured.

I'm especially good with sensitive and anxious dogs. I let them settle at their own pace, and I adapt to each dog's personality, energy and routine.

Your dog's stay

A gentle settle-in, so a new place doesn't feel scary

Most stress happens in the first hour. So we take the first hour slowly, every time.

  1. Meet and greet

Email me to arrange a short trial visit first. Your dog meets us and sniffs around before you book.

  2. Room by room

On arrival we explore the house one room at a time, so it isn't overwhelming.

  3. Settle at their pace

No forcing and no crowd. Their own bed, their own smells, and quiet time if they need it.

  4. Garden decompress

Play or a slow sniff in our fully fenced garden, to burn off nerves and energy.

Questions

Good to know

Can we meet before booking?

Yes, and I recommend it, especially for a first stay or a long one. Send me an email and we'll find a time. A short trial visit lets your dog get used to our home, and lets you meet us and see the garden.

Will there be other dogs?

We don't have pets of our own, and we never host more than 3 pets at once. That keeps things calm, with no chaos and no crowding.

My dog is nervous. Will they cope?

Sensitive dogs are something I'm especially good with. We settle them in room by room and at their own pace. One owner told us their usually nervous dog "clearly felt settled", even at short notice.

Can you give medication?

Yes. I'm trained in pet first aid and CPR, and I can give oral medication. I also have experience with senior and special-needs dogs.

Which dogs can you take?

Every size, from small to over 45 kg. I can't host females in heat. I look after cats too.

Is there a discount for new owners?

Yes. If you're new to Rover, message me there and I'll send you my promo code for £15 off your first booking.

How do booking and payment work?

Everything goes through Rover. You pay securely in the app, message me there, and your booking is covered by Rover's 24/7 support and vet care reimbursement.

When do holiday rates apply?

Rover sets holiday dates for busy periods: 24 Dec 2026 to 3 Jan 2027, 26 to 29 Mar 2027, 30 Apr to 3 May 2027, 28 to 31 May 2027, and 23 Jul to 30 Aug 2027. Bookings that include any of these dates use the holiday rate. Popular dates fill fast, so book early.

What if I need to cancel?

Boarding can be cancelled for free up to 3 days before. Day care, walks and drop-ins can be cancelled up to 1 day before.

Going away soon? Let's meet your dog.

Send me a message on Rover with your dates and a little about your dog. I usually reply within a few minutes.
